It's a big week around here already! Starting a non-profit organization that will meet the needs of as many orphans as possible can have it's daunting and time-consuming list of tasks.
-Gather 500 pounds worth of clothes, shoes, medicine, and school supplies- CHECK
-Find a method to reliably deliver these supplies to orphanages in developing nations- CHECK
-Locate Physicians to volunteer their precious time to travel with said supplies to the area in need- CHECK
-Incorporate (which means coming up with a name that defines the mission)- CHECK
-Get Mailing Address & Checking Account- CHECK
-Apply for 501c3 Status- CHECK
-Work with UPS, FedEx, U.S. Postal Service, and multiple airlines to get the best shipping or flying rates possible- CHECK
-Establish a smart, mission-minded, responsible, and trustworthy Board of Directors- CHECK
-Funding the whole project- TBD
